Get Involved at New Hampton School

There are several ways for parents to be involved with New Hampton School. From the Parent Leadership Council to Admission Ambassadors and beyond, we welcome parent involvement in many facets of the community experience.

Further details are provided below, as well as a form to submit if you would like additional details on current opportunities. Please also share with us if you have any experience with volunteer support to other schools, organizations or boards. After submitting the form, we will be in contact. Volunteer Opportunities

Parents Leadership Council
  • Join the PLC to provide insight and reflection on key strategic initiatives of the school
  • Visit the PLC page for further details on this vital team

Admission Ambassador
  • Participation in Registration Days, Open Houses and Revisit Days
  • Help to spread the word about New Hampton School in your community
  • Serve as a reference for incoming parents
  • Make welcome phone calls to new families

The Fund for New Hampton - Parent Agent
  • Attend Phonathons
  • Make calls from home
  • Partner with us by making a contribution to The Fund for New Hampton
 
Host a reception
  • Host a reception in your home for prospective families, current parents, and/or alumni.

Event Ambassador 
  • Provide support at one or more of the annual events at NHS including the Exam Bake, Powder Keg, Faculty Appreciation Week, Parent Coffee & Tea Events and more.
  • Provide baked goods and other treats for students and faculty
 
Team Parents
  • Manage or participate in athletic tailgate activities
 
Host a house (dorm) party
  • Provide pizza, ice cream, cookies, or other snack/meal options

Campus Administrative Support
  • Providing support to various departments throughout the school community on an as needed basis.
  • Tasks may include mailing support, event preparation, phone calls and more.
