Huskies Drop Close Battle With Blair
NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT -
The Huskies lost a close game against Blair Academy on Sunday in their second of two games at the National Prep Showcase in New Haven, Connecticut. New Hampton battled hard, but ultimately came up short. The final score was 91-89.
Post graduate Jahyml Telfort ‘20 (Montreal, Canada) was stellar in Sunday’s contest, leading the team in scoring with 29 points and notching 7 rebounds. Sophomore Alex Karaban ‘22 (Massachusetts) scored 21 points, and senior Canberk Kavsuk ‘20 (Istanbul, Turkey) added 10 points. Karaban ‘22 and Kavsuk ‘20 both secured 7 rebounds each for the Huskies.
The Huskies will return from Thanksgiving break and face Vermont Academy on December 4th at the Frederick Smith Gymnasium in their home opener.
