Huskies Lose Hard Fought Game in Opener at NPS

NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT - The Huskies traveled to Albertus Magnus College to take on Hargraves Military Academy in the first of two games at the National Prep Showcase in New Haven, Connecticut. The Huskies lost a competitive and hard fought game against Hargraves. Sophomore Alex Karaban ‘22 (Massachusetts) led the team in scoring with an impressive 27 points in Saturday’s contest. Post graduate Jahmyl Telfort ‘20 (Montreal, Canada) scored 15 points, and senior Canberk Kavsuk ‘20 (Istanbul, Turkey) recorded 12 points. Post graduate Matt Becker ‘20 (Connecticut), junior Evan Guillory ‘21 (Missouri), and Karaban ‘22 led the Huskies in rebounds with 8 each. The Huskies look to bounce back tomorrow as they take on Blair Academy at 3 pm. The game will be live-streamed on Yurview.
