Huskies Redefend the Powder Keg

The Huskies faced the Rams in their final regular season matchup during Powder Keg. Coming off of a tough loss to Pingree a few days before, we were determined to come out on top. The Huskies controlled the majority of the game, peppering the Tilton goalie with shots and lots of offensive pressure. In the end, the Huskies landed 17 shots on the Tilton goalie. Tilton was able to capitalize and cause 5 offensive corners and pressure our defense enough to score 2 goals. Despite Tilton’s fire and tenacity, it was no match for the Huskies who came out on top with 5 goals, 4 of which were scored by Amelia Monahan. The other goal was scored by senior captain Taylor Healey from a stroke relatively late in the second half. Maddy Young would end the day with 2 assists. Great day to be a Husky and to keep the Keg! We are excited to move on to post-season playoffs where we will matched up again with Pingree on Wednesday!
