Huskies Win in Last Game of the Season

For their final match this fall, the Huskies traveled west to Kimball Union Academy on a chilly but sunny Wednesday afternoon. The first half of the game, New Hampton came out very strong; they ran to the ball and communicated effectively. Jamie Holleran scored two goals and Autumn James scored one on a great pass from Sydney Mailloux to end the first half. Midfielders Alexa Mailloux, Cathy Li, Emma Yao, and Alden Truesdale played hard and were a great help for the strikers up top. In the second half, Autumn James scored her second goal of the game. Nga Nguyen had a great game on attack as well, fighting hard and winning several contests against the KUA defense. Husky defense continued to play well, but a small miscommunication in front of the net with less than 10 minutes left gave KUA their goal. Overall, the Huskies had a great time playing together this season, improved their skills, and worked well to become a cohesive team.
