Huskies Play Their Game Against KUA

The New Hampton field hockey team had a well-played game against Kimball Union Academy on Friday the 18th. In the first half, the girls came out strong, fierce, and ready to play our game. Staying strong on offense and defense, we worked tightly as a collective unit in keeping clear communication, marking, and poise over the ball. Scoring two goals in the first half, and then scoring another two to finish the game we finished strong with a 4-0 win over Kimball Union Academy. Taylor Healey scored two goals, both assisted by Maddy Young. Amelia Monahan also scored two goals, both of which were assisted by Elsa Cassidy. This huge win couldn’t have been done without the whole team, but some special recognition goes to Emily Downing, Jazzy Peterson, and Sage Patel for giving the extra effort when we needed some extra support throughout the field whether that be speed while redefending, good selective shots on cage, or communicating better with our teammates. We are looking forward to the next few games this season after this great game.
