A Strong Husky Team Pressures Big Red

The Huskies maintain their undefeated status, on par with St. Paul's School in an evenly matched game. Huskies got a fast start with great pressure on the Pelicans. In the first minutes of the game, Ava Golash charged through traffic in the circle to put one by the St. Paul's keeper. Husky defense was tried and true, fending off the assault througout the first half. In the cage for the Huskies, Sarah LaCroix had 9 saves and some very strong clears. The only goal against came early in the second half on a penalty corner play with a cross-goal pass to the weak side. 
The last minutes in the game were nail-biting, each team with their opportunities to get ahead. In the final seconds, St. Paul's got a break-away opportunity and LaCroix stayed strong and cleared the ball away as time expired.
