In their third face-off this season, White Mountain played a strong game coming off a loss at home last week against New Hampton. The Huskies had Allie Parmett back in net for the first half, and she made some terrific saves. Bry Treon also had some great saves and half-field clears in the second half. As it got chillier and darker, the players lost some momentum. Without trapping the ball with their bodies and communication, they lost possession of the ball more than they would have liked. Averi Curran and Lucy Thomson played well on defense, and Madi Woods had some great defensive clears up midfield. Nga Nguyen, Alexa Mailloux, Sydney Mailloux, Sarai Nicolosi, and Jamie Holleran all had good looks at the White Mountain goal, but couldn't capitalize. We look forward to rest this weekend and facing Holderness next week.
