Huskies Take a Win Up North Against White Mountain

After a beautiful hike through the Burleigh Mountain woods on Foliage Day, the JV soccer team traveled up through the notch to face White Mountain for the second time this season. It was chilly but sunny, and the Huskies took to the pitch with Sarai Nicolosi in net. The Husky defense was swift and relentless against White Mountain, although White Mountain had several good looks and shots. Nicolosi was a strong backstop in net, stopping all but a Husky own goal. Captain Jamie Holleran led the team with four goals, plus a goal by Alexa Mailloux and Cathy Li's first goal of the season. The players worked together as a team and communicated well. We look forward to facing White Mountain again on Wednesday in Husky Nation.
