PEA Snaps Huskies' Undefeated Streak

The Huskies fell for the first time this season at the hands of a talented Exeter team. The game started poorly with a goal conceded direct off a corner within the first three minutes of play and were forced to chase the game for the remainder of the match.

The guys showed a tremendous attitude and resiliency at half-time and we came out reorganized and re-energized. We were knocking on the door with a couple chances and even hit the post. A few compounding mistakes at the back allowed the Exeter striker an easy finish and resulted in a 2-0 lead. 

We had to open up play and try to get on the front foot which exposed us in the back and led to a third goal conceded. With roughly 10 minutes left, we pulled a great goal back. Despite looking dangerous and having several chances on goal in the remaining time, we were unable to muster a comeback and suffered a hard-fought 3-1 loss.
