Huskies Blank Proctor

What began as a hot and grueling start became much more fluid as the Huskies melted into action. The Proctor offense were quick to take possession to start the game and it looked as though the huskies were in trouble. The defensive trio of Sam Davis, Cassie Dumont and Julia Bao did their work and were able to keep the Hornets out of the net and off the scoreboard. Keeper Sarah LaCroix did her work, fending off an agressive attack. Once the huskies woke up, the tides turned. Midfielders transfered the ball and moved out to the wings and started using the sides of the field to advance on the hornets. Midway into the first, after a strong Husky possesion, a scrum in the circle turned into an Ava Golash shot and goal! In the second half, a great volley of possessions turned into more shots on goal. A cross from Kareena Alam gave Isa Healey the shot opportunity. The Proctor keeper skillfully made the save, but Golash got ahold of the rebound and put another one on the board. From there, Huskies continued the charge, including a nice break-away by Molly Coyle. 
Midfield and defense held the hornets and notched a third shut out on the season.
