Huskies Fall to Middlesex

The huskies maintained control for most of the game, taking 12 shots on the Middlesex goalie. Middlesex was the first on the scoreboard. Shortly thereafter, the huskies drew an offensive corner. Sage Patel received a ball from inserter, Taylor Healey, and scored with a straight shot that nailed the back left corner of the cage and tied the score at 1-1. Middlesex responded a few minutes into the second half by drawing a corner and sending the ball in after a slip left and capitalized on the rebound. The second half included many near-goals by the offense in efforts to tie the game up, but were unable to finish. Overall, the huskies outshot their opponents 12 to 8 and out-cornered them 5 to 3. The huskies look to forward to their next game against St. Paul's on Monday.
