Seven RBI Day for Braswell Leads NHS Past Proctor
- Zola Braswell '20 wasted no opportunities at the plate on Thursday, driving in seven runs on two hits and two walks to lead New Hampton School past Proctor Academy 21-2. NHS secured the victory thanks to 11 runs in the first inning. The offensive firepower by the Huskies was led by Braswell, Bailey Jenness, Ellie Beaudet, Courtney Colarullo, Maryellen Leach, and Maddie Willingham who all drove in runs. Strong defensive plays were made at third base by Ali Beaulieu, Leach in the circle, and centerfielder Beaudet. Maryellen Leach was credited with the victory for the Huskies. She allowed one hit and two runs over five innings, striking out seven.
