Huskies Drop the Opener to Talented Winchendon School

New Hampton Baseball traveled to play a non league game against Winchendon school at Franklin Pierce University.  Winchendon took the lead early with 2 runs in the first inning, but the Huskies battled back to cut the lead to 4-3 in the 4th inning thanks to great RBI at bats by Nick Healey and Thomas Evans. Winchendon pushed a few more runs across the board in the 6th and brought in a tough closer to finish the game 7-3.
