New Hampton Bounce Back Against TRC Academy

Springfield, MA - The Huskies rallied from a second half deficit to enter winter break at 8-2 against a tough TRC Academy team. Wrapping up a stretch which saw the Huskies play five games in nine days, New Hampton came back to grind out a win against the Toronto based team. The front line proved to be too much for the Wolfpack as New Hampton's bigs Canberk Kavsuk '20 (Istanbul, Turkey, Bas Leyte '20 (Bergen Op Zoom, Netherlands), and Trey Hall '20 (Wilimantic, CT) wore down the undersized TRC squad. Northeastern pledge Tyson Walker '19 (Westbury, NY) sealed the game with a big steal and Juniors Marcus Peterson '20 (Bristol, NH) and Kerem Ozturk '20 (Istanbul, Turkey) provided a spark off the bench that proved crucial down the stretch. New Hampton's next game will be against Lee Academy at home on January 5th.
