Huskies Battle Hard to Defeat Bishops

New Hampton played a much-improved Bishops College in the first game of the Northeast Hockey Showcase. The game started at a furious pace with back and forth action, both teams creating quality scoring chances. Bishops a big and strong team played extremely physical against the Huskies, but New Hampton never back down. As the game went on New Hampton gradually started to show their strength and took control of the game. The Huskies defeated Bishops 3-1 with goals scored by Cory Morris, Isaac “Oak” MacLeod and Greg Peterson. Matt Sayles played solid in net to get the win for the Huskies. New Hampton looks to build off their strong effort as they play against New England Fall Prep League All-Stars, tomorrow morning at 10:10am.
