Huskies Manage Big Win over Hebron

In the midst of a hail storm, rain, two rainbows, and a stunning sunset, the Huskies competed against visiting Hebron Academy at home on Kennedy Field. The Huskies struck early in the game from a shot from the top of the box from Anna Shelden, her first as a Husky! Hebron held their own, keeping a high defensive line and looking to intercept passes made into the New Hampton offense. The Huskies attacked over the top, and the second goal was scored off a well-placed through ball to Ally Prentice from Lindsey Duggan, who played it towards the far post for Liv Sollows to knock it in. The Huskies managed the midfield and were competitive in winning 50-50 balls off goal kicks and clears. After the first half, the score was 3-0. In the second half, the Huskies came out strong, unwilling to give up a goal. Midway through the second half, Lindsey Duggan scored her first goal of the season off a bouncing ball struck well with a left-footed volley. The game ended 4-0. The Huskies look forward to hosting KUA at 2pm on Wednesday, 10/24 at Kennedy Field.
