New Hampton School Falls To Tilton School Rams After Sixth Inning Score

New Hampton School lost the lead late in a 9-6 defeat to Tilton on Thursday. The game was tied at six with Tilton School Rams Varsity batting in the top of the sixth when Trevor Frederick homered on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

New Hampton School collected four hits and Tilton had 11 in the high-scoring affair.

In the first inning, Tilton School Rams got their offense started when Cole Winkelmann hit a solo homer.
New Hampton knotted the game up at six in the bottom of the fifth inning. An error scored one run for New Hampton.

After Tilton  scored one run in the top of the second, New Hampton answered with one of their own. New Hampton then answered when Noah Bolduc's sac fly scored one run.

New Hampton put up four runs in the third inning. New Hampton batters contributing to the big inning included Alex Rives, Nick Healey, Jake Proccacianti, and Bolduc, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Roy Grisby took the loss for New Hampton. He surrendered nine runs on 11 hits over five and a third innings, striking out four.

Proccacianti led New Hampton School with two hits in four at bats.
