Huskies Lose First Lakes Region Match

The Huskies took their first Lakes Region loss at their home course, Laconia Country Club. A rough start by Lynden Breen (1) and Michael Kesselring (2), paired with their opponents playing exceptionally well, dug the Huskies into a 3 point hole, each shooting 43 and 44 respectively.  Troy Coan (3) finally found his confidence on the course, shooting a team low of 39, and won his match and the best ball for the team by the 6th hole. Alec Grace (4) struggled to gain momentum through his match, but still managed to take his opponent to the 9th hole, although ultimately losing there by one stroke. Jess Burwell (5) had another strong outing. She shot a 45 and won her match on the 6th hole, then went on to help her teammate win the best ball. Louis Liang (6) put up a good fight in his match, playing to split his match with his opponent on the 9th, but unfortunately lost the hole. Although the team lost, they took Proctor to the very end, and plan to regroup and secure a top seeding for the final tournament by winning their the upcoming tri-matches against Holderness and Vermont Academy.
