New Hampton School Nabs Win Over St. Paul's School Despite Early 3-Run Inning
Despite allowing three runs in the fourth inning, New Hampton School defeated St. Paul's School 8-4 on Friday.
New Hampton School opened up scoring in the second inning. Alex Rives drew a walk, scoring one run.
New Hampton put up four runs in the sixth inning. Nick Healey, Noah Bolduc, and Jameson Goff each had RBIs in the big inning.
Goff pitched New Hampton to victory. He surrendered three runs on four hits over six innings, striking out five. Bolduc threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
New Hampton School collected ten hits. Jonny Leclair, Ian Gobbi, and Rives all managed multiple hits for the Huskies. Gobbi led New Hampton with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 12 stolen bases.
