New Hampton Takes Lead In Fifth Inning For Victory Over Brewster

New Hampton School Huskies took the lead late in the game in a 5-3 victory over Brewster Academy Bobcats on Wednesday. The game was tied at three with New Hampton batting in the bottom of the fifth when Noah Bolduc singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Brewster scored three runs in the third inning, but New Hampton still managed to pull out the victory.

In the first inning, the Huskies got their offense started when Jake Proccacianti drew a walk, scoring one run.
Roy Grigsby led the New Hampton to victory on the pitcher's mound. He went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out five.

Jonny Leclair started the game for New Hampton. He surrendered three runs on five hits over four innings, striking out two.
New Hampton totaled six hits. Nick Healey and Alex Rives each had multiple hits for New Hampton. New Hampton Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Healey had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.
