Huskies run with the Bulls

The intrepid Huskies took to the road for the first time for the long drive north to Holderness. Despite some fashion faux pas and forgotten jersies, we geared the whole crew up and prepared for what we were certain would be an excellent test. Close from the start, the game moved quickly with lots of turn-overs in transition. Despite scoring first, the game never felt in hand as we went into the half only up 2-1. Ball movement improved after some chalk talk and our offense began to take shape. Some missed shots and balls off the post kept the game close but Holderness took some penalties in the 3rd and T.J. M. '21 and Ryan M. '20 were able to capitalize and push the lead. Playing with a lead, the men in green never played timid and conintued to push the pace, get shots on goal and keep the Holderness attack from getting good shooting opportunites. While not a perfect game by any stretch, it continues the growth shown by this young group. We look ahead to one of our biggest challenges of the season as we head to Maine on Friday to take on the Hebron Lumberjacks varsity squad. Wish us luck!
