Husky season starts with a bang

The young Huskies started their season at Kennedy Field on a chilly Wednesday afternoon. While cold and drizzly, we came out of the gate hot putting multiple goals in in the first quarter. Lots of new faces wear in green and this was a different group from last year and for many, this was their first time on a lacrosse field. With room to grow, everyone took to the field and showed improvement from the first day of practice. Consistent play in the attack from Eli C. '18 paced the offense as he deftly moved the ball around and we saw several different scorers. Making his return to the face-off dot, Matt S. '19 shook off the rust from a year of baseball and won the majority of the draws keeping us on the attack most of the game. There were lots of areas for us to improve but both coaches were pleased with the first effort and look forward to our first matchup in the age old rviarly with Tilton at the end of the week
