Huskies pick up their first win in their season opener

New Hampton traveled to Vermont Academy and played very well. Meghan Evans was the big goal scorer of the night with a hat trick.

Very early in the game, New Hampton was able to get on the score board. Meghan Evans scored her first of 3 goals only 10 seconds into the game. She would go on to score the next two goals for the Huskies. Nikki Bronson and Jacqui Galea assisted Meghan with her goals. Both Nikki and Jacqui were also able to pick up a goal for themselves. Bridget Conkling also had a beautiful goal with assists from Brinly Janelle and Brenna Crowder. Averill McCorkle played in net making 12 saves for the Huskies. At the end of the game, the coaches recognized Nikki Bronson and Carla Wuerth were recognized for having a great game.
