Huskies come back late in game to tie the game against Proctor Academy

New Hampton had a rough start to the game, but bounced back and was able to tie it up in the 3rd period.
New Hampton had a slow start to the game that cost them a goal in the first period. The girls tried to pick up their spirits, cheer each other on and get back into the game. The second half of the game was much better. The Huskies created more offensive opportunities and were working together as a team by making better passes, and hustling back on defense. Meghan Evans scored a goal in the third period getting an assist from Colleen Harriman to tie the game. Averill McCorkle worked hard in net to keep the Huskies in the game, making 34 saves. Averill was recognized at the end of the game for her amazing work in net. The game ended in a tie. Emma Thorsson had a great game showing energy throughout the game, and working hard up and down the ice. Carla Wuerth also had a good game. She had improved greatly over the season and it showed during the game.
