NHS vs. BB&N

The Huskies would travel to BB&N to face the Knights on a warm, foggy Friday night. MJ Peters '19 would start in net for the Huskies and look to have another great performace.

The Huskies were off to a tough start, as the Knights would capitalize early and earn themselves a 2-0 lead. The Huskies would not let this determine the game, so Savannah Norcross '18 would net the first Husky goal with assists from both of her linemates, Lily Humphry '19 and Anna Shelden '20. The second Husky goal would come from the same trio but this time, Humpry '19 would score, giving Norcross and Shelden the other two assists.
Both teams would battle in the second period but the score would remain tied 2-2. Peters '19 would make some excellent saves, keeping the Huskies confident. The Huskies would find themselves on the penalty kill multiple times and earn a few power play opportunities. The third period also remained scoreless and the game would head into a five-minute sudden-death overtime.
The Huskies had a few good opportunities during OT, but the Knights would earn a power play and find the back of the net, winning the game 3-2. The Huskies look to bounce back at Tabor Academy against the Sea Wolves.
