New Hampton Clips Wildcats
New Hampton, NH - Despite the cold weather, a sizable crowd traveled to Smith Gymnasium to watch New Hampton earn an 83-67 victory over Lakes Region foe Kimball Union Academy. In a game of runs, New Hampton wore down the visiting Wildcats and were able to create separation in the second half against a hard nosed and gritty KUA team.
New Hampton had contributions from all eleven members of the team, with each player notching a positive statistic and nine of them scoring. Dyondre Dominguez '20 (Providence, RI) had his second consecutive double-double of the season with 20 points and 13 rebounds and Mason Webb '18 (Oklahoma City, OK) chipped in 14 points including four 3's. Shandon Brown '18 (Boston, MA) and Bas Leyte '19 (Bergen Op Zoom, Netherlands) also scored in double figures. Post Graduate Rex Walters '18 (Rochester Hill, MI) provided a spark and defensive toughness for the Huskies.
New Hampton is back in action tomorrow when they host Lee Academy at 6pm in Smith Gymnasium.
