Huskies Win First Game at Nickerson Classic

With school on break, the Huskies headed south to face off with some of the top NEPSAC competition in the Nickerson Classic hosted by the Noble & Greenough School.  The first opponenet New Hampton faced was Thayer Academy.  This win was truly a team effort. With the scoring charge led by Amelia Clairmont '19 and Amanda DeAngelis '20 who each scored 16 a piece, the game also saw a husky score her first points of the season, Hannah Hibbert '20.  Point guard Eva Hodgson '18 added 15 points to the board as well.  Ronja Orpo '18 was a major contributor distributing the basketball and stopping the teams' leading scorer.

The huskies second game saw them face off with the team that downed them in the '16-'17 super class A final.
