New Hampton Wins Opening Tournament Game

New Hampton played a much-improved Brewster Academy in the first game of the Northeast Hockey Showcase. The game started at a furious pace with back and forth action, both team creating quality scoring chances. As the game went on New Hampton gradually started to show their strength and took control of the game. The Huskies defeated Brewster 7-1 with goals scored by Michael Kesselring, Jake Dunlap, Joe Dunlap, Lukas Uhler, Bradley Shaw and two by Lynden Breen. Matt Sayles played solid in net to get the win for the Huskies. New Hampton look to stay on the winning track as they play against a very good Seacoast Spartans team, tomorrow morning at 11:00am.
