Huskies win over Chancellors 15 - 7

The Huskies defense fought hard for four quarters to hold St. Thomas More to only one touchdown. After Drew Muzzy's 85 yard touchdown on the opening kickoff, things looked good for the Huskies. But it would prove difficult for either team to find the endzone. The defenses on both sides kept the game close until late in the fourth quarter when senior quarterback Christian Everett ran 62 yards for a touchdown. The Huskies defense caued five turnovers including a crucial interception by junior safety Anthony Gaines that prevented the Chancellors from tying the game. Chuck Ezeli, Carter Dillon and Ian Gobbi combined for 28 tackles on the afternoon. The Huskies will play host to Holdeness School next Friday night.
