    2015 - 2016
    Head Coach: Rick Marcella

The Football program at New Hampton School has won numerous New England Championships and produced many college players. New Hampton has competed in the NEPSAC Bowl games five of the last six seasons, winning the Ken O’Keefe Bowl in 2015 with an impressive 9-0 campaign.

Head Coach, Rick Marcella, longtime prep school faculty member and one of the most connected coaches in New England, took over for Ed Kiley in the Spring of 2013. Kiley, who led the Huskies through a resurgence, remains on staff as an assistant coach.

Marcella led the program at Bridgton Academy for 22 years, sending numerous players to Division I programs, NESCAC schools, and programs around the country. Among his pupils is current NFL player Victor Cruz.

Playing in the Evergreen League, New Hampton is one of the premier independent school programs in New England, posting a 30-5 record since 2013. Marcella's team plays an exciting brand of football that prepares student-athletes for success in college and beyond.

“I’m so impressed with our school’s commitment to excellence, whether it’s academics, the arts, or the athletic arena. We have a high energy style of play and feature some of the most experienced coaches in all of NEPSAC,” says Coach Marcella.

New Hampton School is a dynamic and supportive community that channels incredible Husky spirit and this is evident in our football program.
