Please join us in welcoming Scott LeBrun and his family to Husky Nation. Scott joins us as the Director of Student Life for New Hampton School. He is replacing the leadership of Chris Little, in the Student Life Office, who has assumed a new position at The Greenwood School following 10 great years of service to New Hampton School.
Scott began his career in independent schools at the Fay School in Southborough, MA where he worked for 14 years in various capacities including as Dean of Students, Director of Student Life, Secondary School Placement Counselor, Director of Summer Programs, and founding Chair of the Wellness Department. While working at Fay, Scott earned a Master's of School Counseling Degree from Boston University. Most recently, he worked as Dean of Students at a pre-k through 12 independent school of 980 students in Louisiana. Scott is passionate about developing leadership in students and promoting students' voice in shaping the culture of their school. I am also highly dedicated to promoting diversity initiatives for students.
"I am thrilled to join the New Hampton School community as Director of Student Life. I first visited campus almost 14 years ago, and remember feeling the warmth of the community and witnessing the truly personalized approach to education offered NHS students. While helping to counsel Fay School 8th and 9th grade students about secondary school options, I have had the opportunity to return to campus many times in recent years. I am immensely impressed by NHS's continued evolution and its commitment to ensuring the optimal student experience. I look forward to meeting the students later this summer!"
Scott will live on campus in Small House with his wife Erica, a certified special education teacher, and their two children Ryan and Mia.
