Join us for a screening of Gender Revolution: A Journey with Katie Couric

On April 11, New Hampton School will host a free screening of Gender Revolution: A Journey with Katie Couric. This two-hour National Geographic Channel special first aired on Monday, February 9th, and aims to explore the changing nature of gender in society. The screening will be hosted in McEvoy Theater at 6:30pm and is free and open to the public.
What is gender? Katie Couric explores this question in National Geographic Channel’s Gender Revolution. In the documentary, Couric travels across the country, talking with psychologists and medical experts that study identity, genetics and brain science. She also meets with children, families and couples that have been faced with the issues of gender first hand.
New Hampton School's School Life Curriculum emphasizes access and inclusivity; as such, the school’s Gay Straight Transgender Alliance (GSTA) is thrilled to host this screening for our school community and the central New Hampshire region. The screening will begin with the documentary and guests may stay to participate in a discussion session following the film. Refreshments will be provided.
More information is available on the National Geographic website.
