Huskies Outlast KUA

New Hampton earned a road victory on Friday afternoon, defeating KUA 60-55. A competitive first half saw the Huskies take a 32-27 lead into the break. In the second half, the Huskies led 54-41 before a huge KUA run pulled the homestanding Wildcats to within 3. However, an Anthony Gaines '17 (Kingston, NY) bucket with 30 seconds left pushed the Husky led to five, securing the victory. Tyler Lydon '15 (Elisaville, NY) led the way with 23 points, while John Crosby '15 (Baltimore, MD) added 12. The Huskies will play again on Sunday at 6:30 against Notre Dame Prep as part of the Frank Monahan Invitational at Bishop Brady High School in Concord, NH.
