December Female Athlete of the Month - Cayla Barnes '17

The December Female Athlete of the Month is awarded to Cayla Barnes who is a member of the Women’s Varsity Hockey Team. Cayla got off to a fantastic start to the season with 8 goals and 12 assists (20 points) in 11 games. These points rank her at the top of the league in scoring.  Cayla has helped the team get off to a solid 5-5-1 start with good wins over Milton Academy and Culver Military Academy.   Her hard work during and outside of our season has also paid off  for her since she was selected to represent Team USA at the World Championships and is the youngest player on the team.  For her focused start as a Husky this season and selection to represent Team USA, Cayla Barnes was named the December Female Athlete of the Month.
