May Male Student Athletes of the Month: Johnny Moore'17 & Henrik Barbin'16

Johnny Moore and Henrik Barbin where named May Student Athetes of the Month for their outstanding performances during the month of May.

Johnny Moore a member of the Men’s Lacrosse team was awarded Athlete of the Month for being a consistent contributor all year for the Huskies. He is a “do it all” type of player as he plays on the wing for face-offs, is an aggressive defensive midfielder, and a “go to” guy on offense. His most notable games this season were against Exeter and Holderness where is earned his nickname “Johnny OT” by scoring the game winner in overtime. For his consistent play and contributions to the team this season, the May, Men’s Lacrosse, Athlete of the Month is awarded to Johnny “OT” Moore.

Henrik Barbin a member of the Men’s Varsity Baseball team was awarded Athlete of the Month for tearing the cover off the ball all year for the Huskies. He has led the team in RBI’s with 27, had 10 extra base hits, and batted over .400 on the year. He is never afraid to get dirty in the field and dive for a ball at first or in the outfield. He also had a tremendous day on the mound during a double header, throwing 9 innings and getting one win and one save. For his excellent play, positive attitude, and love of the game, the May, Baseball, Athlete of the Month is awarded to Henrik Barbin.
