Dempsey Arsenault '15 named ACC Defensive Player of the Week

Dempsey Arsenault '15 was named ACC Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday. The Boston College Eagles had a dominant performance over Syracuse (ranked third at 13-8) on Saturday at home in Newton, Mass.

Arsenault received her first career ACC Player of the Week recognition after holding No. 3 Syracuse to a season low of 8 goals. Arsenault defended Syracuse's Kayla Treanor, who prior to Saturday had the ninth most points amongst all Division I players. She held Treanor to only two points.
